01:40 : It's a better plan than I had anticipated. 02:42 : 'Cause he's a predator~ 05:45 : I gotta agree with Jaha, again. Border disputes are tough enough, when both sides have legitimate claims to the land. 07:28 : Kane is banking on the idea that the Grounders are more volatile and vengeful than Murphy. I'm not sure that's a gamble that I'd take. 09:12 : Re:Outbursts, how is this guy in charge of anything? 10:18 : It does seem a little over-confident to step to this man. 12:10 : We will never see the accuracy of Jasper's spear-throwing assailant again. 12:55 : It's unreasonable, how cool Indra is. 13:17 : I really do wonder if I should just classify this show as horror, to the uninitiated? 14:35 : Manipulative af and an unlikely match, but I can totally see it. 16:01 : I had mentioned this legend before. I suppose maybe it doesn't apply to just touching the gun, so Gustus could be in the clear. 17:18 : I've been putting off mentioning it but, as far as post-apoc light armor for ladies goes, Lexa's suit is rockin' it. 18:22 : This thing makes Commanders flee and feeds on meese. More importantly, it snaps live trees by just moving. The snapping of live trees is a pet peeve of mine. I think most people don't have any concept of the math on the strength of trees. It's unhinged and I frequently have to force myself to ignore it in shows. 18:41 : I actually love that they didn't go with some goofy mutant monster. It's just a big animal. 19:38 : Let's be real. That guy that grabbed before and Bern's missing arm clearly demonstrate that there is no way, in any universe, that Lexa survives Pauna yanking on her leg. 20:46 : Remember your crimes or even being impacted by them does nothing to absolve you. 22:16 : I'm one of those people that wants to know every detail. I do understand people that would rather not. In any case, I'd rather not have somebody else choose for me. 22:55 : Aight. This is one that drives me crazy. "Their sacrifice", implies that they had and made a choice. I /HATE/ when people treat unwilling participants like this. "He's such a good worker", "guy never missed a day in his life", "Balli would never". Being "a good worker" means that he doesn't talk back. He can't afford to talk back. He never missed a day in his life, despite being sick/injured/bereaved because he can't afford to miss a day of work. Balli would never because if he expressed one once of truth to anyone in his life, they would put him in the looney bin. I hate it so much. 25:32 : This is the moment that Octavia changed her stars. You can teach technique and attitude. You can't teach spirit or willingness to suffer for growth. 27:53 : Lore~ 28:47 : I don't know how much Indra's costume was designed after her casting but it's just perfect for her. 30:05 : The greatest pairing since Xena and Gabrielle. I'm so here for it. Also, I think apprenticeships are what's missing from the real world. If it were possible to just go train under a master for some years, we'd have community and ability and value in all the right places. 30:44 : Man, fuck Jaha. 31:14 : With the exception of shooting Raven, what actual mistakes has Murphy made? Everything he did seemed like an intentional choice, that he'd make again in those circumstances. A mistake isn't just something that doesn't go your way. It's an error that you'd correct. 32:39 : Based on the totality of circumstances, Jaha traveling to the City of Light and then coming back for his people seems like an entirely reasonable thing to do with his time. 36:28 : I'm glad Kane is thinking ahead. Octavia seems enthused by the prospect of being a spy. 37:18 : Alright, full disclosure, I am normally the guy bandwagoning bad logic like this. I love a zealot. I will go to the mat for dumb ideas that someone just happens to super believe in. "If it's not your time, nothing can kill you." is exactly my brand of bullshit. 37:26 : The less of a plan he has, the more on board I am. 38:11 : I mean, what does Murphy even have to stay for? Going on a trek seems perfectly reasonable. 40:12 : Can you imagine the ego blow? Even though you know it's bad, getting marked "Harvest", when your sister's boyfriend got "Cerberus" has gotta be ROUGH. 40:48 : This is not betrayer shit. Lincoln tried to leave. He openly stated he wasn't up to this. You can't get mad at what follows.

Clarke and Lexa finally got some bonding time, out in the forest, alone. Lexa seems to want good things for Clarke. Clarke seems to want good things for Clarke. Bellamy is hosed (this will be funnier, next episode). I guess Abby just fucked off at some point? Kane seems to be in charge?

When originally watching this episode, you have to make a prediction. You have to decide whether there is a City of Light and whether Jaha and murphy will reach it. I almost always err on the side of unlikely belief. I was a Tad Cooper believer. I'm certain I was a City of Light guy, as well.
