01:20 : Get it? He's ~hosed~! More seriously, this is another one of those scenes. The ones where I wonder, "If I were attracted to dudes, would I love this? Who is this for?". 01:30 : That is a substantial needle. It appears to insert to the bone. 01:36 : Is this a tonsil remover? or?? 05:00 : We made a whole-ass stop to asset your authoritay? 05:57 : Kind of a tangent, but this is something that I wish more gamers could understand. Letting someone else have their moment is just as satisfying as having the moment. Super sucks Octavia got blueballsed, though. 08:05 : I can respect a frontal approach. 10:11 : Technique #5 in the Liar's Handbook is to admit some wrongdoing but not all. It builds trust at an unreasonable return rate. 11:50 : lmao, things that are not going to happen, for 100pts 18:06 : There are a few things I love about this murder. One, it shows proper strangling posture, lmao. Two, it takes a long time. Three, it was a group effort. While this makes Maya an ally, it does not make her a good person. In every technical sense, she's a traitor. As Dr. Phil would say, "If they'll do it with you, they'll do it to you". 20:00 : YOU tried to kill her. You get no votes and no points, after that. 22:45 : I had previously wondered how he could possibly become an inside man. Apparently, this area is unmonitored AND they already had an inside man. 23:05 : For someone with a name, Harper sure has it rough. 25:10 : Oh god, yes please. Vote now. Vote today. 27:54 : I appreciate the self awareness, but this guy's face still just bugs the crap out of me. 30:45 : Eventually, these power struggles have to come to a tipping point. Every time folks start out as "equal parters" or friends who "don't pull rank", it's just a ticking time bomb. It is far better to maintain a clear chain of command. It's only at the detriment of friendship, if folks are surprised by it. If everyone knew when they signed up who was the boss and how they can expect authority to flow, then it's nbd. The clearer the path towards a resolution, the less rogue folks need to go. 32:00 : Media both fictional and real have kind of conditioned us to imagine cultures based on their warriors. I like that this show reminds us of the innocents. 36:31 : Yeah, Cage strikes me as a "no coaster" kinda guy. 38:18 : Meanwhile, everyone not in the cool kids club : "I hope the person making decisions about my life gets lucky" 39:30 : This little speech would miss so hard, if the Mount Weather leader was a lady. 40:04 : It won't come to fruition until later, but this is the moment Clarke began down the path of her title. This is where she decided death wasn't just an option but the way forward. She uses death to motivate Emerson, like it's a tangible thing that looms overhead. She says "here is death, now carry it".

It's another episode where we just set the stage for a lot of dominos to fall. That's fine, there's just not much to say. I do like Octavia as Indra's second. I don't know how I feel about Cage. I think he was just put there to give us an unsympathetic villain. Things are certainly going to escalate for Jasper and crew. Maya is a named character but she's not in the cool kids club, yet. I fully agree with Raven, about Clarke not being allowed to quit. Once you onboard other people to your bullshit, you gotta go down with the ship.
