They have this Grounder securely imprisoned inside a government facility, with guards and guns everywhere. There's no evidence of any kind of crime. There is absolutely no urgency and they know a better way. But that's the point that the show is making : Circumstances can change the morality of what you're doing. They're also repeating many of the situations that the kids faced, to demonstrate when the adults do and don't have a better answer. I think it's great. Also, throwback to our previous discussion on the efficacy of torture : Folks will say anything you want. This is not a good strategy, in most cases. 29:49 : Guards should have a higher standard. Not taking her guns away entirely is a mistake. 30:33 : Man, I thought Murphy's job was bad. There's no quick way to stand up. 31:04 : Oh man! Grounders finally used their archers, and it was highly effective. I won't say Octavia saved Indra. I don't doubt for a second that Indra would have turned this around.
